And why, might you ask, I need to locate some mp3 encoders? Simple. I just got a fancy new slimp3 player for my home stereo and I plan on encoding all my music and putting the discs into storage. For those that care, the slim rocks the house, small-form-factor-style! It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite peices of gear! It’s easy to use and does what it’s meant to do wonderfully. You’d think the fine folks over at Apple had something to do with it…

I’ve always had a problem finding a good build of the more recent LAME encoders. Then I found RareWares. I *heart* RareWares. They even have the ACM encoders. Yummy!

EGM had a bunch of kids play test a variety of old-school computer games to see how they would react. I suddenly feel so much older.
