I’m not an ardent tin-foil hat wearer, but for those that are, the folks over at MIT recently did a study that seems to debunk the usefullness of tin foil hats. However, there’s a response to the debunking over at ZPi, so I’m not really sure who to believe…
Would anyone happen to know what font they use for the logo over at Bloglines? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m back in Ann Arbor / Manchester for the week for my grandfather’s 90th birthday, and I’m spending the week working in coffee shops and libraries. It’s good to be back at umich, but wow do I feel old. Students are calling me “sir”.
Sigh.
Found a site with Apache2 + OpenSSL precompiled for Windows. Happy, if you’re into that kind of thing.
Last Saturday, a bunch of us went our for Mike’s birthday. To celebrate one of the last birtdays that really matters, we headed out for something worthy of any middle age crisis, Beef & Guns!
Though it’s called Beef & Guns, the guns come first. I never
really expected to be shooting a .22 rifle in Manhattan, but here we got the chance.
The Beef side of things actually fell through, as we ran out of time,
but we found a good little italian place down the block that was
satisfactory.
The rest of the night was spent at bars, and then at a burlesque,
which was better than I expected, and then home. Thanks to the time
change, I left NYC at 2am and got home at 1:30am. All in all, a great
night, and a fun way to ring in Mike’s new year.
