With fall almost upon us, it’s time to start watching those leaves change. If you’re a serious leaf peeper, here’s a site that tracks the fall colors as the season progresses.

Everything that doesn’t fit anywhere else
The Wife on the History Channel
OK, this was random. Our friend Erin was flipping channels and came
across a special on the History International channel called Treasure! King Harod’s Lost City,
about Caesarea. The Wife was on a dig at Caesarea for two years, right
when they were filming the special and funnily enough, she has a small
part in the special right at the beginning! She’s shown writing
something down for a short time.. We’re currently watching it through
to see if she has any more little parts to play in the special.
Update! There’s a full on face shot right near the end of the special. The Wife says she’s writing down what was found in the trench that day. This is just so odd. We’re going to have to order this one on VHS. Just wish they had DVDs of it… Looks like it’ll be on again at 5 today.
Adorama considered evil?
I was poking around in the Fred Miranda forums and found this thread on awful experiences with Adorama.
I’ve purchased a few items from their store in NYC in person, but never
over the web site or over the phone. My personal experience with them
was quite fine, but it’s interesting to see the wide variance in
experience. I think I’ll stick with B&H…
My new folding technique is unstoppable
I was folding our first batch of laundry from the new place this
evening and had a vague recollection of a fast folding technique for
shirts I’d seen somewhere. Google to the rescue, I found it.
Flickr friends
It just occured to me that a bunch of my friends are probably on
flickr and I just don’t know it. If you’re on flickr, fire me off an
invite or add me as a contact or something. I’m blowery.
